Job Summary
About this role:
Gartner Digital Markets is looking for a passionate JavaScript Full Stack Software Engineer for our Content Engineering efforts based in Gurgaon, India. This position works closely with our product owners, architects, engineers and content publishers across teams to build high traffic content sites using JavaScript, API Markup (JAMStack) using headless CMS, Node.js, React and Gatsby.
What you ll do:
- Write clean, efficient, performant and secure code to build web sites and applications
- Provide input on app architecture
- Work with product/business stakeholders and clients to clarify requirements
- Plan, estimate and prioritize work on a cross functional collaborative team
- Collaborate in a consultative environment
- Guide our clients in best practices in order to achieve great project success
- Design, develop, test and support applications and services using Headless CMS (Directus.io), React, Gatsby and AWS services
- Partner with the business stakeholders, peers, IT groups and communicate effectively
- Follow SCRUM Agile Development methodology
What you ll need:
- Bachelors or master s degree in computer science or Computer Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience
- Must have full stack experience using JavaScript frameworks and libraries to build API using Node.js, UI using React JS lib and having used any RDBMS such Postgresql or MySQL for persistence.
- Familiar with various approaches to styling - from plain CSS to CSS-in-JS, and methodologies for organizing CSS
- Headless CMS experience, PHP Wordpress and Static Site Generation experience is a plus
- Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop and deliver software in an agile scrum process and willingness to work with remote teams
- Self-starter who is motivated to make an individual impact
