Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant Production Support

In this role, you will be responsible for providing L1/L2 support for regulatory applications. To support Engineer using Agile Methodology and should have an end to end understanding of business use cases, to transform them into an effective and strategic solution. Work with business people to have a real time understanding of business problem and, craft the solution which really fits into needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, construct, test, maintain data architectures and ensure production data delivery per SLA, page out data delays according to procedure
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support, escalate production issues to appropriate team for root cause analysis and resolution
• Work with external data providers and downstream application/users to address data delay/issues
• Crafting data pipeline maintenance, monitoring and testing
• Work with Business Solutions and Technology teams on production data issues
• Execute data fixes on production data and perform back processing for historical dates
• Coordinate production infrastructure changes and perform relevant tests
• Work closely with Technology team on improving Operational support
• Feature engineering, modelling of data, data cleaning and transformation
• Excellent analytical, Proactive and capable of maintaining & support multiple projects and can work efficiently as an individual
• Investigate issues, identify and craft the root cause and implement corrective action when tasked, system troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum qualifications

• BE/B Tech/M Tech/MCA/BCA
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred qualifications

• Primary: Unix, SQL, PSQL, AWS, Python, Teradata, Shell scripting and Application production support experience (L1/L2 support)
• Secondary: Pandas, Numpy, Stats-model, Machine Learning, Visualization, Java, Big Data (Hadoop), Hive, Spark, Airflow, Flask/Django, Google Cloud Platform
• Understanding of financial industry concepts and digital marketing is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Agile mindset, TDD
• Flexible to provide on-call support when required
• Exposure to build/deployment tools
• Proactive, committed with positive attitude
