A. Role Overview In order to support our constantly growing business, we are looking for a Devops Developers
They should be high-calibre candidates: self-starters who are confident in client-facing roles. Individual should be passionate about delivering outstanding client outcomes through delivering quality software and services.
They will aligned to industry sector domains (such as Building Societies, Banks, Equity Release) in order to create greater value for our clients who require expertise of their technology needs. B. Duties and Responsibilities Use build automation tools and processes to increase the productivity of engineers and ensure an efficient release pipeline aligned with industry practices
Collaborate with and support engineering teams in building and releasing features.
Collaborate with IT to make sure Product Engineering environments meet requirements and conform to best practices
Promote and nurture good team practices such as TDD, system security, code reviews
Think long-term incremental evolution, in sync with the industry practices and innovation
Learn and expand your skill sets on and off the job C. Qualification, Experience, Technical and functional Skills required Bachelors in technology or equivalent , 5+ years of experience in designing and development of applications in MS Build, c#.net, Powershell, NuGet, Azure Cloud Services, Windows Server & IIS, SQL Server
Practical experience on CI/CD with Azure DevOps
Experience in integrating Quality Gates in CI/CD Pipeline such as:
Unit and Integration Testing
Performance Testing and Monitoring
Security Testing, SAST and DAST
Knowledge of Version Control and branching strategies (TFVC and Git)
Experience with Configuration and Artifacts Management principles and tools.
Understanding of Architecture, design and development methods/support.
Solid understanding of computer science principles.
Solid grasp of computer security concepts.
Experience with distributed systems.
Experience working in an agile environment.
