Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Manager will have his Individual Target for which he solely will be responsible and accountable. Hewill also be accountable for ensuring Budget Target for Sales Executive reporting to him.

2. The collective accountability for achieving budgeted volume and revenue from his territory shall lie with the Manager and he has to build and strengthen his team for ensuring the same.

3. Manager s direct, exclusive and individual focus will be on A Grade customers in both CS & CD(Customer Support & Customer Development)and he will have an Sales Executive and an Assistant Executive under him . Manager will have to focus upon A of D ( Dormant ) Category customer.

4. Manager major focus is to enhance territory/ add new customers / guide Executives in achieving unexploited potential of existing /new customers and strengthen GEPIL brand in his territory.

5. Manager has to focus upon rapport building thru regular customer meetings, Unit Head, EHS Head, PCB authorities and build strong presence in territorythru effective networking.

6. Manager s involvement in his executive case should be limited toAbnormaland exceptions only and all routine to be handled by Executive only.

7. In CD, all 7 stages of Customeracquisition to be driven by Executive and Manager should not go beyond 2-3 meetings and mainly during negotiation stage.

7. On an Average a Manager can carry out 4-5 meetings per day and should regularly meet A Grade customer (preferably) twice in a month. He may plan to meet his Executivecustomers once in a while (45 days to two months) without compromising his own customers and Quantities.

8. Manager has to strictly monitor and review sales performance thru Weekly/monthly meetings with his team and develop individual Dashboards.

9. Manager will be supported by one dedicated Executive Assistant to manage the routine tasks of his marketing region, however Manager can decide the Job profile of this Assistant i.e.Back Office, Waste Lifting Co-ordinator, Collection Agent, Data Analytics, etc.

  • Should have knowledge of Corporate selling.
  • Should have handled team of 4 to 5 members.
