Brief Description:
Sr. Business Development/Sr. Sales Engineer International Market will be responsible for sales and business development activity for the area assigned to him/her across the globe. He/she will maintain good relationship with existing customer and also develop new customers.

Job Description

  • Approaching new dealers/Channel Partners & OEM /BLP.
  • Addition of particular region or area.
  • Study the scale of business, team strength, regions covered etc. and adding new customers.
  • Identify the sources Direct/Website/ Exhibitions/ Social sites/Advertisements/Tradeshows/Market research/Employees
    reference/ customer reference, leads from consultants, sales agent.
  • Cold calling/Personal visits/Handling inward enquires. Understanding requirement from the customer and qualifying the lead.
  • Understand Technical requirement and product requirement from the customer.
  • Update the leads in CRM (Details like Name, address, bank details, payment term and credit terms)
  • Submitting sample if required. If Product is approved by customer, convert the lead to an opportunity & update in CRM
  • Take technical approval (Product Demo/Programming). In case of approval move to RFQ.
  • In case of loss of opportunity inform to respective stakeholders (commercial Management, Technical-R&D)
  • Quote as per the currency and discount norms and update the order in CRM once quote is approved by customer
  • Update the final status(won/loss) in CRM.
  • Push order in Ax through CRM and taking follow-up for material dispatches
  • Ensure advance payments wherever applicable from customer. Start taking payment follow-up based on payment terms in the PO
  • Ensuring communication to finance team on all outstanding and advances.
  • Gather data on available opportunities, competitive environment, competitor activities etc.
  • Keep an eye on the new development in the market which can have impact on the business.
  • Maintain good relationships with the customers and handle customer complaints and resolve the issues at the earliest.
  • Seek Customer feedback regularly and ensure ongoing improvement in handling the customers effectively
  • Participate in exhibition & Seminars
  • Attend product specification finalization meeting organized by Product Management
  • Preparing schedule of monthly customer visits/quarterly
  • Attending Quarterly review meeting
  • Preparing Sales MIS and presenting to Management
  • Forwarding filed complains to Quality department if any
  • Technical training to customer /channel partner sales team/technical team of OEB/BLP/panel builders
