Legal Director Job in Gigamon

Description

• Draft, redline, negotiate and close complex vendor, manufacturing, channel/reseller, business development, nondisclosure, and customer agreements (among various other agreements).
• Provide practical legal guidance across various corporate and business activities, working closely with a large variety of internal teams.
• Partnering with finance to manage the corporate governance of Gigamon s subsidiary and affiliate entities across 25+ jurisdictions (such as business registrations/filings), and support for global expansion initiatives.
• Assist Humqn Resources with in-house labor and employment matters.
• Quickly assess, support and/or assign incoming matters based on subject matter, urgency, and risk profile.
• Assist with development and buildout of legal operations processes
• Assist with developing and updating various corporate contracts, policies and templates.
• Collaborate on key projects, helping other team members as needed, even outside of your immediate job responsibilities.
• Develop deep knowledge of Gigamon s products, business, and operational issues to provide informed legal advice.
• Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment, with a hands-on, proactive approach.

• LLB with 10+ years of relevant experience, either in a technology company or at a top law firm.
• Strong problem-solving, drafting, and communication skills.
• Experience negotiating and managing complex contracts in software licensing and commercial transactions.
• Knowledge and understanding of doing business globally, including working across organizational, functional, and geographic boundaries
• Working Knowledge of privacy and data security issues and compliance.
