Job Summary Desired Profile
  • Experience architecting, designing, providing solution for data intensive applications in cloud, leveraging and not limited to, following technologies
    • AWS Cloud Services under Compute, Storage, Database, Database Migration, Orchestration, Analytics, Infrastructure etc.
    • Big Data Technologies like spark, pyspark for near-real time data processing, devices and sensors use cases
    • Awareness of one or more programming languages like Python, NodeJS etc.
  • Experience architecting and designing data pipelines in cloud for large sets and heterogenous data sources
  • Have demonstrable experience in cloud technology modernization initiatives.
  • Required experience with Microservice system design, cloud performance design, cloud hosting and DevOps
  • Experience with distributed management and analytics in cloud and hybrid environments. Also, an understanding of a variety of data access and analytic approaches (for example, microservices and event-based architectures).
  • Expertise with core analytics, data wrangling and business intelligence tools and solutions (e.g., Power BI, Quick Sight, Trifacta, TAMR)
  • Strong knowledge using wide variety of AWS services and recommending best practices
  • Knowledge of code versioning tools like Github, SVN, Bitbucket
  • Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps
  • Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and enterprise architect to translate future-state business capabilities and requirements into solution architecture requirements
  • Experience defining reusable frameworks, reusable code, and data in an agile setup focusing on the speed to value delivery
  • Preferred experience of key application and database cloud deployment patterns: Microservices, Serverless, Messaging Middleware, and Streaming patterns.
  • Experience and/or deeper understanding in one or more technology areas. Specific knowledge in multiple technology domain areas (e.g., software development/architecture, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
  • Understanding and knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies (such as agile software development, rapid prototyping, and DevOps)
  • Understanding and knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
  • Knowledge and understanding of different modeling languages
  • Understanding and knowledge of IT standards and controls
  • Excellent understanding of application development methodologies and infrastructure and network architecture
  • Excellent analytical, planning, organizational and technical and skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with developers in an in-and-out outsourced environment
  • Organizationally savvy, with the ability to navigate organizational politics.
  • Skilled at influencing, guiding, and facilitating stakeholders and peers with decision making.
  • Ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations
  • Ability to translate future-state business capabilities and requirements into solution architecture requirements
  • Ability to propose and estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically to solve business problems and propose solutions
  • Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies
