Java Architect (backend) Job in Globallogic

• 6+ years of experience working on backend technologies and cloud development of microservices

• Proficient with Object Oriented Programming in core JAVA/J2EE

• Experience working with J2EE/Spring Core, AOP, Spring Boot, and other frameworks

• Experience building cloud based microservices Java applications using Maven/Gradle/Ant.

• Experience in building and managing the real-time, high availability with low-latency type of applications/services

• Experience in building Big Data solutions using Apache Hadoop framework

• Nice to have experience in building microservices using Spring Cloud

• Strong Development experience with Web applications and web services

• Experience with designing and working with API and Cloud

• Experience in designing architecture, LLD, HLD.

• Skills to collaborate across development team about designs decisions

• Excellent communication skills

• Knowledge of eCommerce, Advertising domains a plus

• Work within an Agile software development environment (using Scrum), participating in scrum meetings, retrospective reviews, and planning meetings

• Ability to interact professionally with others; including co-workers, vendors and customers

• Collaborate with Project Managers and the system architect in determining and providing feedback on requirements and design

• Building innovative, customer-facing software on top of a multi-tiered platform

• Participate in planning, design and development for multiple projects/ features along with peer-reviews

• Resolve technical issues through debugging, research and investigation

• Communicate effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders

Job Responsibilities

• Strong technical depth across cloud technology areas, Microservices, Java stack depth in several areas, and breadth and interest across a much larger range.

• Broad knowledge of contemporary technologies and frameworks blended with experience of working with relevant ones (Spring, RESTful Web Services, Database (SQL and NoSQL), AWS)

• Oversee the development of strategic systems strategy and IT architecture (strategic blueprints, roadmaps, migration, application, standards, and methods for Business, Application, Information and Technical Architecture) to achieve business, strategic and tactical plans Modernize, converge, simplify and innovate the solutions architecture.

• Proven experience of leading delivery teams, direct client communication and contribution to architectural and design decisions

• Bachelor or Master s degree in Computer Science or similar areas

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, Good analytical and problem solving skills

• Experience developing high-performance (thousands of TPS), resilient and scalable service, Understanding of operational support concepts

• Excellent understanding of distributed architecture, and system integration concepts,

• Experience developing event-driven solutions is a big plus, Ability to define and govern APIs
