Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Prioritize and assign tasks to team members.
• Responsible for the quality of the models and ensure that they are produced on time
• Ability to create high quality animations in Maya using key frame or Mocap data
• Create animations that are both fluid and responsive
• Work closely with the Animation Director, Designers and gameplay programmers to complete the pipeline and be part of it from content creation in DCC application to in-game implementation
• Have a good understanding of gameplay animation dependencies to identify workflow issues and potential requirements by other team members
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug animation issues
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed

Skills Required:

• Good Eye for animation is a must
• 2 to 4 years of experience in a Lead Animators role in the Gaming industry
• Ability to work in a team, with good leadership skills and to delegate work accordingly
• General Technical knowledge of how games work
• Good working knowledge of Maya, Layering Systems and Pose Library
• Experience working with Mocap Data
• Possesses the ability and drive to contribute and advance all aspects of a game
