Engineering Manager - Unity Job in Goalreify

Responsibility:

Take responsibility to lead the overall Software Engineering delivery for more than one game teams Partner with different stakeholders to define the long term Engineering delivery roadmap for the game teams Take overall responsibility to build and improve high quality engineering practices and capabilities in the game teams Build a strong process and drive periodic design and architecture reviews Provide guidance to the Engineering team members and enable them in achieving their job responsibilities Provide mentoring to the Engineering team members, enabling their capability & career development. Required Skills: Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent Should have 8+ years of professional experience in Game Development Should have 2 years of experience in managing teams, including hiring, and mentoring Proficient programming C# - Experience with network programming and concepts Experience debugging and troubleshooting asynchronous multidevice systems Experience delivering user-facing features with high usability Strong Experience in development of Game features. Experience with SmartFox and Photon Experience with sockets and low-level networking systems Game programming experience with at least one shipped title or a great demo Ability to write and reason about multithreaded, asynchronous systems Strong Understanding of Data structures and Algorithms. Experience with Unity Game Engine Good communication skills, interpersonal skills with experience in building strong internal relationships Good Analytical, Problem solving and debugging skills. Hands on experience in Designing, Coding and release management Lead and manage a talented Engineering Team of 8-10 members Demonstrates strong execution skills, decision-making skills, data driven Shown ability to motivate teams and operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
