Key Responsibilities 4-5 Experience in installation configuration troubleshooting on RHEL,Ubuntu,CentOS
Should have good knowledge on file transfer protocols (FTP, FTPS, SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS)
Should have sound knowledge of Email System - Sendmail/0365
Strong expertise Logical Volume Manager Administration and troubleshooting
Good knowledge about the Linux system files, boot process and Run levels.
Exposure to ticketing, monitoring and patching tool
Knowledge of Red Hat management and provisioning solutions.
Unix Administration skills, clear concepts of LVM, User Management & Operating system.
Experienced in Linux Server-side Storage Configurations (SAN/NAS) and conceptually clear on it.
Troubleshooting on filesystem & user access related issues.
Understanding & experience working on DNS, FTP,NFS and SAMBA
Should be dynamic for managing workloads and working under pressure
Should handle customer escalation and meetings
Ready to work in Shifts - 24 * 7 Job Description Monitoring Linux and Windows instances & resources allocation
Install & configure RHEL and Windows server with upgrades / fixes
Administrating Linux and Windows instances and troubleshooting
Partner with Application, Network & DBA teams to provide support in non-business hours
Qualification Details Essential Qualification: Bachelor-s degree Windows & Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) Preferred Qualification: ITIL Foundation Certifications Experience Details Essential Experience: 4+ years of System Administration experience in Red Hat Linux environment supporting mission critical applications Exp in send mail, 0365 apache, tomcatExperience on Monitoring Infrastructure using tool like SolarWinds, etc Working in structured change management processManage all Linux servers including hardware/software upgrades and patching of OS and applicationsGood understanding of Ansible, Docker, etc Preferred Experience: 4+ years of System Administration experience in Red Hat Linux environment supporting mission critical applications Exp in send mail, 0365 apache, tomcatExperience on Monitoring Infrastructure using tool like SolarWinds, etc Working in structured change management processManage all Linux servers including hardware/software upgrades and patching of OS and applicationsGood understanding of Ansible, Docker, etc Special Skill Essential : Red Hat Linux OS installation & configuration
OS hardening & Applying security updates
Monitoring of Schedule Job - System backups & data recovery
Knowledge of the Scripting - PowerShell, Linux Kernel & shell scripting.
Interfaces with hardware vendors to maintain and schedule repair of equipment in a timely manner and /or provide hardware repair and maintenance as required.
Basic Understanding of Virtualization - VMWare and Hyper-V
Preferred : Exposure to cloud technology
Familiarity with IT standards like ISO 27000 & CMM
Good English (Oral & Written)
