Network Administrator Job in Godrej Infotech

Key Responsibilities :

1.Network Administrator is responsible for Managing uptime and day to day Operations of Network Infrastructure of DC LAN, Campus Switching (SDA), Wi-fi network, SDWAN/SDN etc.
2.Candidate is expected to be a Subject Matter Expert and possess in-depth knowledge of networking, network devices, DC ACI, Campus LAN (Cisco SDA), WAN, Wi-Fi, SDN/ SDWAN and network monitoring tools and processes.
3.Person should Ensure that all Network components meet their operational targets (SLA).
Job Description 1.Knowledge and experience in Software Defined Network rollout - In-depth understanding of Switching and routing protocol.
2.Responsible for uptime, capacity management of LAN, WAN, Campus backbone, Internet & WIFI setup across India.
3.Expert level technical experience on network access control (NAC), Cisco ISE, Wireless LAN controller (WLC), Wireless Access points is must.
4.Must have good troubleshooting skills on DC LAN, Campus LAN & wireless network, SDWAN and SDN technologies.
5.Project management & vendor management experience of handling large scale project deployment of network across locations.
6.Experience of evaluating new technology in area of Wireless network and DC LAN or Campus LAN switching Network.
7.Administration and management (technical operations) in support of OEMs like Cisco, Fortinet and HP network infrastructure (Routing and Switching).
8.Understanding customer-s network and solving network related issues in minimum time.
9.Working on tickets raised by customers related to Network issues. Responsible for resolution of L2 and L3 level complex issues.
10.Implements changes to Network infrastructure in order to correct errors or enhance functionality.
11.Experience on Monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, Cacti, What-s Up etc. will be an advantage.
12.Develops processes for improving operational efficiencies, as well as identifies/implements automation tools for existing manual processes.
13.Prepares technical reports, memoranda and instructional manuals as documentation of network design and operational requirements.
14.Candidate should have experience facing internal and external audits and should have knowledge on IT standards like ISO 27000 & CMM etc.
15.Good verbal and written communications skills are must.

Qualification Details Essential Qualification: Candidate should have Bachelor of Engineering degree (preferred from Mumbai university or equivalent) with 8 to 10 years relevant core networking experience.Candidate should have Cisco or Fortinet like OEMs professional level technical network & security certifications. Preferred Qualification: CCNA wireless / Certified Wireless Security Professional/ CCNP /FortiGate NSE Certification / Juniper Mist/ ITIL v3 Foundation. Experience Details Essential Experience: 1. Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in core networking - Routing, Switching, Wireless network, SDN etc.2. Expert level experience (minimum 4 years) on managing wireless networks. 3. Should have professional Certifications in CCNP / Fortigate NSE etc.4. Knowledge of ITIL practices. 5. Project handling experience for rollout of network setup across locations. 6. Good verbal and written communications are must. Preferred Experience: 1. Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in core networking - Routing, Switching, Wireless network, SDN etc.2. Expert level experience (minimum 4 years) on managing wireless networks. 3. Should have professional Certifications in CCNP / Fortigate NSE etc.4. Knowledge of ITIL practices. 5. Project handling experience for rollout of network setup across locations. 6. Good verbal and written communications are must. Special Skill Essential : 1.
