Key Responsibilities 1. Tool, Jig, Fixture Design using Cad Software (Press tool, Machining Fixture, Welding Fixture, Inspection Gauge Design)
2. Tool try out & validation
3. Manufacturing Process knowledge
Job Description 1. Designing and developing Press Tools for sheet metal components of Stainless Steel, and from Super Alloys such as Satellite, Inconel etc.
2. Designing and developing Welding fixtures for Welding of Aerospace Assemblies in exotic materials for TIG / MIG welding processes.
3. Designing and developing Fixtures for machining processes like turning, milling, grinding, drilling and EDM.
4. Designing and developing Fixtures for special Surface and Heat Treatment.
5. Designing and developing Fixtures for various Testing as per customer requirement.
6. Design & development of precision inspection Gauge.
7. Tool try-out, trouble-shooting and validation of new and old tools.
8. Integrating low cost automation techniques to design optimal tools & processes.
9. Working under AS9100 (Aerospace Standards) certification, besides ISO-9000 quality systems and OHSAS18001.
10. Working in Cross Functional Teams with experts from Machining, Welding and Surface Treatment/Heat Treatment domain.
11. Designing tools that would produce end results and products that meet demanding requirements of customer.
12. Ensuring process Optimization for Quality, cost and timely delivery.
13. Valuing the information received, efforts spent in creating every piece of information.
14. Ensuring that the right information is accessed by right individuals.
15. Ensuring Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of information.
Qualification Details Essential Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Engineering Preferred Qualification: BE/Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering with PG in Tool Design Experience Details Essential Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience for candidates with Engineering Degree or Minimum 7 years of experience for candidates with Diploma Preferred Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience for candidates with Engineering Degree or Minimum 7 years of experience for candidates with Diploma Special Skill 1. Conceptualization skills
2. Interpersonal skills
3. Time management
4. Knowledge of Associated processes
5. Knowledge of High-pressure Hydro strength test, pneumatic leak test and flow calibration tooling
6. Knowledge of AutoCad, ProE
