Job Summary
Position Responsibilities
- Create and drive the vision for a game; communicate it within the team and throughout the company
- Create an overarching plan for game mechanics and economies
- Work with artist and designers to define the visual identity of a game
- Oversee and guide the design team as they define features for development
- Recruit design internsand mentor their career development
- Remain current with industry trends (new platforms, genres, design methods)
- Provide clear feature documentation, diagrams, wireframes and/or prototypes
- Analyse live data and player feedback to continually optimize existing game experience
Essential Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of experience in the industry
- Ability to excel in a team environmentwith leadership abilities
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Experience in game balancing and system mechanics
- Strong knowledge of online/social/mobile game space
- Passionate about making and playing games
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience in designing social/mobile games
- Experience in UI design
- Experience working in an agile project environment
