Job Summary
Gsource Technologies is looking for a highly skilled BIM Engineer with experience in SCAN to BIM Projects, architectural, structural projects specifically for the US geography. Knowledge of US Building Codes and standards would be greatly beneficial during the technical interview stage.
As a BIM Engineer, you should have a strong understanding of Architecture, Structure and MEP design principles. Proficiency in BIM 360 is a must, as well as experience with Scan to BIM Data processing using tools such as Recap, Cyclone, or open-source Point cloud classification methods.
Responsibilities:
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to handle various situations during client deliverables.
Execute SCAN to BIM projects for the US geography, ensuring accurate conversion of scanned data into BIM models.
Collaborate with cross-functional & internal team(team members) including MEPF, structural, and architectural disciplines for effective coordination and integration.
Utilize your strong technical knowledge to deliver high-quality BIM models, adhering to project specifications and industry standards.
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure accuracy and resolve any issues that may arise during the BIM modeling process.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in BIM technology, providing recommendations for process improvement and implementation.
Educational qualifications:
B.Arch or B.E in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering.
Excellent problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively and stakeholders.
Ability to work from our office in Pune, India.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Recap, and Scan conversion software tools such as Cyclone, Faro Scene, and others.
Creation of CAD & Revit models and production drawings.
Development of detailed design drawings and specifications for Residential, Commercial, and Industrial Projects using Revit/CAD software (Revit Architecture and AutoCAD).
Leading and coordinating with other employees to design, layout, or detail components and systems and resolve design issues.
Reviewing and analyzing specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs.
Provide Bill of Materials (BOM) management and sourcing support for all components within the design.
Making necessary design decisions/judgments based on intellectual thought.
Communication and assistance to other departments with calculations and datasheets.
