Job Summary As an Entry-Level Laboratory Technician, you will train and develop skills in laboratory operations while following health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards. Under direct supervision, you will conduct laboratory tests, document results, and learn to operate basic testing equipment. This role is an excellent opportunity for candidates eager to build a career in laboratory sciences and production solutions. Key Responsibilities Familiarize yourself with the Chemical Hygiene Plan and adhere to current HSE laboratory safety standards. Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations while performing assigned duties. Conduct prototype or laboratory tests following established procedures. Learn to build equipment and perform basic material or environmental tests using electrical, electronic, chemical, and mechanical equipment. Document and report test data accurately for reporting purposes. Maintain files and documentation related to test equipment and test results. Qualifications Education: Completion of at least 8 hours of college-level chemistry is preferred. Experience: No prior experience required; this is an entry-level role with on-the-job training provided. Skills & Competencies Basic understanding of laboratory safety protocols and procedures. Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation skills. Willingness to learn and work with laboratory testing equipment. Ability to follow instructions and work under direct supervision.
