Overview of the Role:

As a Tech Architect, you will drive architecture and design decisions, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability. You will play a critical role in setting up best practices, defining technical roadmaps, and ensuring high-quality delivery.

This role requires hands-on technical leadership, a deep understanding of cloud platforms, architecture patterns, and modern engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy resilient APIs, bridging cloud infrastructure with software development.
• Build and manage data and pipeline management frameworks using Hadoop, Hive, Spark, HBase, Kafka Streaming, Tableau, Airflow, and cloud services like S3, Redshift, Athena, Kinesis, etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build innovative, secure, and cost-effective distributed solutions.
• Design and develop big data solutions, real-time analytics, and streaming platforms using industry-standard technologies.
• Own delivery of complex components, ensuring adherence to technical and business requirements.
• Serve as a team lead or influential individual contributor, driving architecture decisions and best practices.
• Identify requirement inconsistencies, proactively highlight risks, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
• Create and maintain clear technical specifications, ensuring proper work breakdown and estimation.
• Support customer communication, handle critical issues, and contribute to client presentations.
• Set standards for software development processes and deployment methodologies, contributing to team-wide best practices.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• 7-10 years of experience, including at least 4 years as an Application Architect or Data Architect.
• Strong expertise in Java, Python, UI Development, or Data Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Generative AI-enabled application design patterns is a plus.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, distributed applications, integration, and API design.
• Experience in technology stack selection and defining solution architectures for small to mid-sized cloud-hosted platforms.
• Strong grasp of design and architecture patterns, with experience in developing scalable architectures.
• Experience in setting up and governing engineering processes, tools, and standards.
• Proficient in effort estimation techniques, project planning, and defining test strategies.
• Experience responding to RFPs/RFIs and working directly with customers.
• Up-to-date with latest technology trends and engineering practices.
• Experience with PAAS and SAAS platforms hosted on cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure sizing and design for both on-premises and cloud platforms.
• Ability to understand business domains and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and present to CXOs.
• Strong leadership, business communication, and consulting skills.
