Job Summary

1.1 FX4 Implementation Engineer1.1.1 Responsibilities ESP Order management: processing of ESP orders, ensuring orders are progressed in a timely manner, remediation of items tagged as risks of rejection/cause of aging, reviewing of ESP order details using automated tools Network Performance Audit: conducting audit on Network Health, technology assessment, security vulnerability, MNSO standard compliance, etc. Pre-/post-tests: performing requested pre/post tests, OOB connectivity tests, signal strengths, functionality tests, etc. Network Documentation: creating/updating Network documentation for Customer's managed networks; i.e., pre and post design impacting implementations/activities Process documentation: maintaining run books, checklists, method of procedures, operational manuals, governance/administrative reports, training manuals, etc. Automation: Diligent execution of automation tools to improve quality and productivity; development of streamlined processes or new automation techniques Implementation: support logical changes that are classified as mid-to-low risk/low impact or of low/moderate complexity Innovation: Participate and potentially lead innovation design projects and implementation of new tools Prepare and work with Verizon leadership on regular and ad-hoc performance reporting for Engineering functions, including pre-defined weekly and monthly reporting.1.1.2 Qualifications BS or BA in Engineering or Computer Science or IT equivalent work experience Ability to create and review network diagrams and documentation, adept with business productivity tools Good understanding with Network Operations and Network Infrastructure; CCNA/DA or equivalent expertise Good knowledge in network technologies and topologies with fundamental understanding of SDWAN, VNS, WAN, (W)LAN, and optimization services Familiarity with network verifications tools such as ping test, trace route, show commands, etc. Hands-on work experience related to network implementation or operations desired Excellent Customer facing skills (oral and written), a passion for Customer satisfaction, and adherence to support service level agreements Performs well under pressure to meet deadlines Accepts responsibility, is self-motivated and accountable for achieving implementation and Customer satisfaction targets Results-oriented, excellent ability to utilize and manage the organization s resources to achieve goals Strong interpersonal abilities to facilitate extensive interactions across the organization and with multiple Customers Strong commitment to accuracy and a high level of attention to detail Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple orders and Customers Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks Self-starter, with strong sense of ownership and assertive follow-through
