Job Summary
Project Role: Technical Specialist Qualification: B-Tech Experience: 2.5 - 5 Years Skills Required: Primary Skill: DC Virtualization (x64) Number of Positions: 1 Job Description: The Technical Specialist will be responsible for managing and handling VMware vSphere infrastructure, particularly focusing on ESXi and vCenter environments. You will be expected to troubleshoot and maintain VMware platforms, as well as work with various hardware, such as Cisco UCS, Dell Servers, and HP ProLiant Servers. Hands-on experience with VMware View (Horizon), vROPS, and Zerto will be beneficial. Key Responsibilities: 1. Provide support for on-call escalations and perform root cause analysis on issues. 2. Independently resolve tickets within the agreed SLA for ticket volume and resolution time. 3. Adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. 4. Work on value-adding activities like knowledge base updates, training freshers, and coaching analysts. 5. Ensure a positive customer experience and CSAT (Customer Satisfaction) through First Call Resolution and minimal rejected resolutions or reopens. Technical Skills: 1. 5+ years of experience managing VMware vSphere infrastructure. 2. Strong knowledge of ESXi and vCenter. 3. Hands-on experience with ESXi and vCenter patching. 4. Strong troubleshooting skills in ESXi and VMware platforms. 5. Experience with hardware such as Cisco UCS, Dell Servers, and HP ProLiant Servers. 6. Understanding of Converged and Hyper-Converged Platforms. 7. Hands-on experience with VMware View (Horizon) and vROPS infrastructure. 8. Certification in VMware or related technologies is an advantage. 9. Experience with Zerto is an added benefit. 10. Familiarity with Cisco Intersight and Hyperflex is advantageous.
