Job Description
- Job Responsibilities(JR) : 6 8 Areas Actionable (4-6) Scorecard Building and Modelling Managing a suite of products and / or function within the Analytics Team.
- Driving product risk strategy for the specific retail asset products of the Bank with the help of segmentation, statistical/financial models.
- Advanced models would need to be developed in partnership with statisticians / external vendors and with the relevant business units.
- Provide analytical and data support to the different teams within the retail lending space in the Bank, mainly Policy, Product, Collection and Fraud Units.
- Responsible for development and deployment of various scorecards / models for the Retail asset products of the Bank within the specified timelines.
- Ensure the deployment also is line with Banks strategies so as to gain maximum efficiencies.
- Portfolio monitoring and analysis for the different loan portfolios of the bank with the aim of supporting the policy units in the areas of sourcing and portfolio management.
- Co-ordinating with the internal IT team for providing data support to the various teams within the Bank Co-ordinating with Bureau and other Analytics vendors to evaluate industry trends, bureau scrubs, proof of concept experiments, analytics projects.
- Responsible for certain regulatory and compliance related projects/activities.
- Formulating data cuts and strategies to increase cross-sell of asset products to existing customers of the Bank.
- This would further require the incumbent to operationalise all initiatives pertaining to cross sell from a credit qualification stand point.
- Model validation the team lead is expected to own and minimize model risk by continuous monitoring of all credit risk models in use by the Bank.
- To continuously evaluate latest trends in the financial industry including "big data" technologies and chart out experimental or proof of concept projects.
- To adopt the latest trends wrt fintech companies by applying the best-in-class financial models, risk strategies Portfolio Monitoring Ongoing monitoring of accounts including tracking developments in the industry and the account to identify stresses early and work with business and risk teams in devising appropriate mitigation strategies wherever required.
- Advanced detection before SMA / Rating downgrade / default Focused house keeping which involves follow up on clearing deferrals/ overdue/delays appearing in daily MIS circulated by Operations team.
- To identify and closely monitor accounts which are in stress, in order to devise and implement account strategy Appropriate level of client calling to develop strong understanding of client business and industry dynamics Innovation Thinking, evolving and making significant changes in the processes, techniques, methods so as to save time, energy and money.
- Any other assignments depending on the needs of the organization.
