Job Summary

Job Description

  • Description of the broad function and scope of the position Booking of all the schedules as per products classified in system.
  • Verification and Authorisation of all cheques received for collection.
  • Technical verification of all instruments before presenting.
  • Ultra Violet verification of all eligible cheques before presenting.
  • To ensure dispatch of the schedules to the right location on time.
  • Timely scanning of cheques within cut off time.
  • To ensure timely completion of corr-bank related activities.
  • Follow-up for schedules in case not received, send tracers as required.
  • To manage Disbursement cheque printing.
  • Ensure Inward Returns are tallied with Grid Mail.
  • Ensure timely marking of cheque returns and dispatching to customers.
  • Ensure Hold marking and subsequent release of Hold prior to Liquidation.
  • Ensure timely liquidation of all eligible schedules.
  • Ensure return tracker and other utilities are being used on a daily basis.
  • List of duties or tasks performed critical to success Ensure smooth internal/process audits.
  • Team handling, grooming and motivation.
  • Investigate customer complaints and analyze, send response and resolve the same under intimation to seniors.
  • Investigate errors/lapses and inform seniors scrupulously.
  • Procure relevant approvals from Seniors.
  • Liaison with the Grid for resolution of issues.
  • Ensure good liaison with all stake holders.
  • Liaisoning with RBI, Govt.
  • agencies viz.
  • Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Software Technology Park of India etc.
  • Management of Vendors and Suppliers, staff.
  • Crisis management Take up issues relating to infrastructure, utilities, systems.
  • Ensure smooth implementation of new systems, enhancements, migration.
  • To identify/escalate accounts with huge unprofitable/unproductive volumes, regular and high percentage of returns, cases of potential misuse of the banking systems.
  • Physical records management.
  • Participate in various Corporate Social Responsibility activities of the bank.
  • Key functional and relational responsibilities in order of significance Ensure timely handover of systems.
  • Maintain relevant registers and documents.
  • Suspense/GL accounts monitoring.
  • Store all security documents, instruments, etc.
  • in FRFC under dual custody.
  • Ensure generation of all the relevant reports for all the functions.
  • To convert customer on digital platform.
  • Co-ordination with external agencies, vendors, system support teams.
  • Cost Management Efficiency Management Management of staff leaves, absence, replacements, exigencies.
  • Any other responsibilities entrusted from time to time.

    • Knowledge of Competition & Current trends in financial Industry.

    Graduation: Post-Graduation: Certifications: AMFI Certification IRDA Certification NCFM Certification (Optional) CAIIB (Optional) Internal Certification (NR Modules
