Lead Data Scientist, Product Job in Headout Inc.

The Role We re looking for a Lead Data Scientist for our Product Data team to help build a product that helps millions of people to better experience the world around them. You ll help us understand and improve how users interact with Headout and help drive our growth as we look to continue scaling across the globe. Data driven decision making is at the core of what we do at Headout. The data team works collaboratively with partners across the business to develop business insights and make actionable recommendations. Our team is a small tight-knit group and you will play a big part in defining the culture, technical direction, and structure of the team as we continue to grow. Our Dream Data Scientist Collaborate and work closely with PMs, designers and engineers to understand and answer key business-related questions and develop the product roadmap for Headout Define product telemetry that enables seamless reporting and analysis Build data models & dashboards to track key product metrics and promote faster data driven decision making Ideate & design product experiments which let us reliably measure the impact of our changes Contribute to data across Headout by sharing insights, improving our data pipelines and spotting opportunities where we can improve Help recruit more team members and coach and develop existing junior data team members to improve their skills We like You re excited about the future of travel and what we re doing here at Headout You re impact driven and commercially minded to put numbers into business perspective You re proficient in SQL and preferably Python You have experience working in product or growth teams, preferably at a fast moving tech company You have experience in hypothesis testing, causal inference & conducting A/B experiments You have experience with web analytics tools like Google Analytics or Mixpanel We are flexible with having remote or hybrid work set up.
