Overview Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Windows, VMware, and Azure Cloud Administrator to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Windows server environment, VMware virtualization infrastructure, and Azure cloud services. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation, optimization, and security of our IT systems across multiple platforms. This position requires a strong understanding of Windows server administration, VMware virtualization, Azure cloud services, and excellent problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and associated software applications. - Administer and manage VMware virtualization infrastructure, including vSphere, vCenter Server, and virtual machines. - Deploy, configure, and manage Azure cloud services, such as virtual machines, storage, networking, and security. - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance and availability. - Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as patching, updates, and security enhancements for Windows servers, VMware, and Azure resources. - Create and manage user accounts, security groups, and access permissions on Windows servers, VMware, and Azure cloud. - Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies for Windows servers, VMware virtual machines, and Azure resources. - Collaborate with other IT teams to plan and implement system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure changes involving Windows, VMware, and Azure. - Provide technical support and guidance to end-users regarding Windows server, VMware, and Azure-related issues. - Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures. - Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in Windows server administration, VMware virtualization, and Azure cloud technologies. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Proven work experience as a Windows, VMware, and Azure Administrator or in similar roles. - In-depth knowledge of Windows server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server 2012/2016/2019) and related technologies. - Strong understanding of VMware virtualization technologies, including vSphere, vCenter Server, and ESXi. - Experience in installing, configuring, and managing virtual machines and virtual networks in VMware environment. - Proficiency in deploying, configuring, and managing Azure cloud services, including VMs, storage, networking, and security. - Familiarity with Azure infrastructure components such as Azure AD, virtual networks, and load balancers. - Experience in Azure resource management and automation using tools like Azure PowerShell or Azure CLI. - Familiarity with storage technologies, such as SAN, NAS, and RAID configurations. - Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and task automation. - Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and end-users. - Relevant certifications, such as MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert), VCP (VMware Certified Professional), Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect), or equivalent, are a plus.
