Assistant Sales Manager - Industrial Sales in Auto Refinish Business in Industrial and Decorative Paint Company


Designation : Area Sales Manager South 2

SBU : Auto Refinish

Location : Bangalore

Reporting to : Chief Manager, Auto Refinish

No. of direct Sub-ordinates : 03

No. of indirect Subordinates : 04

Primary Function:

Area Sales Manager leads the South 2 region comprising Karnataka, Telangana & Andhra Pradesh to deliver the sales strategy and performance targets through sales channels. The role is accountable for delivery of all sales performance targets across the region including volume and overdue. He is responsible for building the distributor and sales capability across his team.


Brief Job Description :

1. Achieve assigned sales and collection targets

2. Manage distributor and dealer network, including network expansion.

3. Further develop business in the area by winning new OEM bodyshop accounts.

4. Manage service requirements of bodyshops and key customers in the area.

5. Planning & Forecasting

6. Managing Team of Sales & Technical

7. Maintain relationship with OEMs

8. Responsible for New product launch

9. Drive execution excellence in the distribution of products in retail channel

10. Responsible for over all business development in the region like bus body segment.

11. Taking lead in identifying and developing new business opportunities


Education Qualification & Years of Experience required :

MBA / Degree in paint technology/ Chemical Engineering, 7 -8 years experience in sales preferably in paints.


Minimum Skills Required:

Computer literate, should know English, Hindi and local language (Kannada/Telugu).

Good presentation skill

Analytical skill
