Job Summary

Responsibilities:

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails

  • Understand customer needs and requirements

  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate teams for further development and closure

  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas

  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest

  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory

  • Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals

  • Perform effective online demos to prospects

  • Gain an understanding of customers' diverse and specific business needs and apply product knowledge to meet them

  • Ensure quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of company's systems and processes, and then documenting them

  • Carry out cold-calling in order to create interest in products and services, generate new business leads and arrange meetings

  • Identify and develop new business through networking and follow-up courtesy calls

  • Prepare and deliver presentations and demonstrations of software to customers

  • Market and promote a portfolio of products by writing and designing sales literature and attending industry events

  • Maintain awareness and keep abreast of constantly changing software systems

  • Develop effective sales plans using sales methodolog

  • Provide technical advice to customers on all aspects of the products and use of systems ,both before and after the sale

  • Advise on software features and how they can be applied to assist in a variety of contexts

  • Meet sales targets set by management and contribute to team targets

  • Network with existing customers in order to maintain links and promote additional products and upgrades

  • handle software problems and faults, referring on to specialist technical colleagues where appropriate

  • respond to tender documents, proposals, reports and supporting literature

Requirements:

  • Conduct Market Research to Find Sales Prospects

  • Go to Sales Meetings with Prospects

  • Participate in Sales Strategy Meetings

  • Maintain a Database of Prospective and Current Customers

  • Create product positioning strategies so that products get noticed by end-users

  • Coordinate with the team to come up with selling tools such as demos, trade shows, and presentations

  • Carry out competitor analysis and familiarize themselves with software trends, and other duties

  • Identify consumer needs and provide detailed information on how to meet the need

  • Advise clients on technical matters regarding the software and recommend suitable configurations

  • Come up with presentations to demonstrate product features and sales pitches

  • Submit orders for sales processing

  • Help potential customers maximize the use of the software s features

  • Negotiate with prospects to reach a reasonable selling price and draw up service agreements

  • Answer queries from potential and existing clients on how to use the product

  • Advise customers on suitable user training

Required Skills :

  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools

  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Strong listening and presentation skills

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively

  • Analyzing demographic information from nearby regions to determine worthwhile territories

  • Using IT expertise to explain product features and benefits to prospective clients

  • Converting prospective clients into customers using IT and sales acumen

  • Organizing current and prospective customer data using CRM software

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent

  • Experience of IT/Software sales in the Healthcare/Pharmaceutical/life sciences will be an advantage

It is a full time engagement with an option of remote basis work and candidates from any location are preferred.
