As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing scalable data solutions and supporting business growth through data-driven insights. Key Responsibilities Database Expertise: Develop and manage both relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, GraphDB) with 8-10 years of experience. Data Engineering: Lead ETL operations using Python/PySpark and integrate with databases for efficient data transformation and storage. Analytics Leadership: Guide the data science and analytics teams in defining and executing data management strategies. Data Visualization: Manage and prioritize the development of impactful dashboards and visualizations using PowerBI, Qlik, or similar tools. Solution Design: Lead the architecture of complex data workflows, including cloud-based systems (AWS EC2, S3, EKS). Data Integration: Create automated pipelines for a wide variety of data sources and ensure data integrity across systems. Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with internal teams to drive continuous improvements in metrics quality and business performance. Technical Expert: Serve as a subject matter expert in addressing data integration, application design, performance, and security issues. Required Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor s degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience) with 10+ years of experience in data engineering, or a Master s degree with 8+ years of experience. Skills & Expertise Databases: Strong knowledge of SQL (Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, GraphDB, Cassandra). ETL & Data Transformation: Advanced experience with Python, PySpark, and ETL operations for large datasets. Data Engineering Frameworks: Proficiency in Flask, Pandas, Django for building scalable data solutions. Cloud Platforms: Experience working with AWS services, particularly EC2, S3, EKS. Data Analytics & Machine Learning: Proficiency in analyzing data with statistical methods, machine learning, and leveraging data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Qlik). Messaging & Queuing Systems: Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, and other messaging solutions. Programming & APIs: Experience with REST APIs, microservices architecture for seamless integration of systems. Leadership & Collaboration: Ability to guide teams, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across organizational boundaries. Additional Skills Problem Solving: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to extract insights from complex datasets. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with various stakeholders. Agile Methodology: Experience in working with Agile development processes. Business Acumen: Ability to translate data findings into actionable business strategies and improve organizational performance.
