Job Summary
Role: DevOps Cloud EngineerResponsibilities
Increase software craftsmanship in the DevOps teams and work the Agile way Completely automate the software development process using continuous delivery pipelines Train teams to become a high-performing DevOps player Establish intelligent infrastructures using cloud-native and/or container-based platforms Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes

Essential Skills
8+ years of total IT experience with 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Architect Must be comfortable working with Java/J2EE or MS .NET environment Must have good exposure to Java Spring ecosystem, Spring boot framework, Hibernate/JPA and RESTful Web Services (or) .NET core, C#, WebAPI (Rest, SOAP), ADO.NET, MVC, Entity Framework, etc. Good experience in Junit, Unit Testing principles, and tools Mockito Experience in Cloud Foundry configuration, concepts, and management Intermediate to advanced knowledge of containerization technology, with the skills to configure and manage container platforms Prior experience with Bamboo configuration for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployments setup of Java/JavaScript projects Experience in DevOps Architectural decisions, tools selection, best practices Intermediate to advanced knowledge of command-line Git. (Also, prior experience with Bitbucket/Stash or GitHub or Gitlab) Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Linux/Unix internals and architecture Familiarity with writing Maven scripts and integrating them with artifact managers like Nexus or Artifactory Technical Skills: Experience in Azure DevOps/AWS Code Build/AWS Code Pipeline, Jenkins, Groovy, SonarQube Experience or knowledge on Terraform/Azure Arm Templates/AWS Elastic Bean Stalk is desirable Must have prior experience with the idea of Jenkins Declarative syntax and "Pipeline as Code" via Jenkins file for Jenkins, Gitlab Pipeline or Bamboo Specs
Nice to Have Skills
Hands-on user experience with using JIRA or a similar issue tool for issue tracking and project management Comfortable with scripting (Shell, Python, Ruby, Nodejs), etc. Good verbal and written communication skills. Documentation should be second nature Should be able to explain the technical details of builds and deployments using CI tools Should be able to demonstrate proficiency in optimizing the compile timeEssential Qualification
Bachelors or Master s in Computer Science is preferred
