Position: General Manager / Senior Regional Manager Business Development (Govt & PSU)

Location: Delhi

We are looking for an experienced and proactive General Manager/Senior Regional Manager to spearhead Highbar s business development efforts in the Government and PSU sectors. This role demands a highly motivated individual who can drive sales, forge strategic relationships, and secure contracts, with a focus on delivering quick results and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish Business in Govt & PSU Sector: Build and expand Highbar s footprint within the Government and PSU sectors in Delhi.
  • Sales Ownership: Take full responsibility for the sales process, ensuring revenue targets are met and quick wins are achieved within a short timeframe.
  • Opportunity Identification & Relationship Building: Identify new business opportunities and cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders within Government and PSU organizations.
  • Pre-Qualification & Alliances: Work to pre-qualify Highbar for bids through its own capabilities or by forming strategic alliances with pre-qualified organizations to strengthen the bidding proposition.
  • Bid Management & Submission: Lead the preparation and submission of competitive bids, ensuring a clear and compelling value proposition.
  • Order Acquisition & Contract Closure: Focus on winning the order, finalizing contracts, and ensuring the collection of the first payment.
  • Project Handover & Execution: Seamlessly hand over the project to the delivery team for execution, ensuring smooth transition and project success.
  • Quick-Win Focus: Drive efforts to secure immediate wins, energizing the organization and aligning it with the sector's growth potential.

Candidate Profile:

  • Education: Graduate (preferably Engineering) with an MBA.
  • Experience:
    • 12+ years in IT sales, with at least 5 years in Government/PSU market-focused IT solution/services sales.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role, managing business development and sales strategies.
    • Strong network and excellent relationships with decision-makers in Government and PSU organizations.
    • Proven track record in building pre-qualification through strategic alliances and strong market presence.
