Job Description

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To carry out plant safety inspection and to observe physical condition, work practices and procedures followed by workers and render advise for removing unsafe conditions & unsafe acts by employees.
• Issuing confined space entry / hot work permits and follow up for strict compliance of permit system.
• Maintaining hydrant system and sprinkler system in operation condition and maintain records.
• Taking round of plant and observing unsafe condition and unsafe act and ensure its compliance .
• Training to contract / company employees
• To organize calibration of inspection measuring and test equipment and ensure their fitness for use.
• Organizing mock drills, safety committee meetings, walk through audit as per schedule and follow up for its compliance.
• To keep a track / records of departmental activities.
• Keeping all safety equipment s in working condition
