Job Summary

The Core and Collaboration Manager has responsibility to act as the face of the department in the Asia pacific working hours for all Products in our responsibility. The position will also entail a global responsibility for a subset of the Products (each Manager will have a subset of the services) which need to be coordinated with the supplier/s and team members in all time zones. The position reports to the Global Product Group owner for core and Collaboration and requires a close cooperation with the Managers in the other 2 regions.

Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for the end to end service ownership of assigned products, steering the service owners and suppliers to meet the required objectives.
  • Regularly reports to the global product group manager and collaborates with the other core and collaboration managers.
  • Handle Escalations in the Asia pacific time zone for all our products.
  • Responsible for operational activities including the change implementation management, release & deployment management, incident and major incident management, event management, service level management, problem management processes to ensure delivery of core and collaboration services.
  • Collaborate with IS suppliers as needed regarding the operational implementation of outsourced activities, consistent with existing agreements.
  • Review architecture, standards, policies, norms, and guidelines.
  • Analyze current service performance for potential problems and improvement.
  • Assist in global transformation of IS infrastructure, including Build activities.
  • Contribute to the adoption of best practices across the organization.
  • Support global vendors in analyzing problems and developing solutions.
  • Run and monitor continuous technology improvement projects.
  • Enable automation of services where possible.
  • Propose and evaluate business case for changes or new services.
  • Evaluate service refresh and new services.
  • Maintain cooperation with global vendors and work with them to ensure service level targets are met.

Your background

  • BSc degree with more than 10 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure services on a large scale.
  • Experience as a global manager with strong leadership skills.
  • ITIL certified with a strong experience in ITIL processes, experience working with ServiceNow.
  • Positive attitude and expert in dealing with Escalation management.
  • Deep knowledge in IT infrastructure (Identity, Collaboration, networking, Hosting, security and others).
  • Excellent Written and Verbal English.
  • Cultural awareness and the ability to work in a complex, multicultural and global team.
  • Great team player and result driven problem solver.
  • Project/Program management skills.
