Mission Statement:

As an Associate Project Manager, the role requires technical project management skills to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for technical processes or projects. Responsibilities include developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. This role involves conducting risk analysis, monitoring the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets, and providing technical and analytical guidance to the project team. The role ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.

You will also be responsible for liaising with users to analyze and document requirements, and, when applicable, managing the integration of vendor tasks. As an Experienced Professional (P2), you will typically work independently under general supervision. The problems faced will be challenging but not overly complex. The role may also involve influencing others through the explanation of facts, policies, and practices.

Your Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Work within the Dry & Traction division and report functionally to the Head-Project Management.
  • Focus on achieving professional growth and consolidating targets for the current and future years.

Revenue and Budget Management:

  • Help achieve targeted revenue, customer inspections, and collections as per budget, in close collaboration with the Head-Project Management for P&L responsibility.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with customers, address and coordinate customer complaints, and work with factory and regional service engineers to resolve issues.

Coordination with Regional Marketing:

  • Collaborate with regional marketing teams (regional offices, branch offices) to align with business objectives, providing proper delegation and leadership.

ISO Documentation Maintenance:

  • Ensure that ISO documentation is maintained after orders are handed over from marketing.

Long-term and Short-term Goals:

  • Focus on achieving both short-term goals while keeping in mind the long-term perspective for sustained growth and success.

Team Leadership & Management:

  • Lead the team involved in backend marketing and business development, ensuring smooth project execution and alignment with the organization s goals.
  • Manage and build the competency of your team, showing leadership and setting the vision for the next year s business growth.

Systemizing Project Management:

  • Work on systemizing, organizing, and giving a professional shape to the project management department through reporting systems, feedback, analysis, meetings, reviews, etc.

Representation & Strategy Development:

  • Represent the organization at forums, exhibitions, and government-sponsored strategy meetings.
  • Contribute to developing strategic business growth and plans for India, shaping the vision for future years.

Your Background:

Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience:

  • 5-10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with a focus on project management.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in resource utilization and engaging both technical and marketing teams.
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills with the ability to influence at all levels and handle key issues with professionalism and integrity.

Languages:

  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
