Role Overview:
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the execution of breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, and planned maintenance for equipment used in the transformer manufacturing production lines. This role requires managing technical documentation, resolving equipment issues, and optimizing operational performance while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Operations:
- Oversee breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, and planned maintenance of equipment in the transformer manufacturing production lines.
- Solve major technical and equipment issues to improve the performance and reliability of production lines.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they remain in optimal working condition.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Keep technical documentation of equipment up to date and accurate.
- Propose and implement improvement projects aimed at reducing both ordinary and extraordinary maintenance needs.
Emergency & Troubleshooting:
- Respond promptly to emergencies, breakdowns, and malfunctions, minimizing disruptions to the production process.
- Monitor progress against the maintenance plan, identifying and resolving operational issues to maintain smooth operations.
Safety & Compliance:
- Implement health, safety, and environmental guidelines to ensure the safety of people and resources within the workplace.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
- Work closely with the production team to define maintenance plans for equipment and suggest ways to improve equipment reliability, maintainability, and safety.
- Contribute to improving the efficiency and energy optimization of the manufacturing process.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Focus on key performance indicators such as machine availability, Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE), Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), Mean Time Between Repairs (MTBR), and energy management.

Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintaining plant machinery, preferably in a transformer manufacturing or continuous processing plant.
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, vacuum pumps, EOT cranes, drying ovens, and winding machines.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of electrical equipment drawings and operation, including power and control circuits.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
