1. Understand the product design and its end application.

2. Understand the HW/ SW/ FW implementation and define the test scenarios.

3. Interact with engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret test for products, systems, components, or modifications.

4. Support product testing from conceptualization thru development phases.

5. Support Identification of lab infrastructure requirements for project timely.

6. Assist development and operations with diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution of performance issues.

7. Improve the Test cycle and productivity using automation/reuse.

8. Industrial Product Certifications like CE, CSA, FM, UL, TUV, Marine, SIL,NEMA/IP

Wireless product certification like PTCRB, Verizon, BELL AT &T, FCC, ICUse your advanced knowledge of the hardware engineering discipline, processes and tools to help Honeywell _______________ deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work under limited supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of _______ products by designing, testing and/or validating products/processes from prototype to market. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise to ensure the success of complex engineering projects and programs while acting as a mentor to more junior engineers. You will interact with internal and external customers in order to facilitate the completion of products to customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute project subtasks (designing, testing, etc)
• Assist in product and process certification for customer acceptance
• Guide engineers, technicians and associates to ensure project and product compliance
• Present to leadership and external customer
• Consult with vendors and suppliers to ensure product and project compliance
• Communicate any non-compliance incidents and results of internal project audits to pertinent parties
• Establish and follow methodologies for new or existing concepts
• Identify opportunities and propose technical improvements by applying advanced electrical
• Suggest enhancements to advance projects

1. Experience on Electronics and Electrical circuits and designs.

2. Experience on Analog and Digital Electronics/Sensors working principle

3. Experience on using EMI/EMC standards and test setup for Industrial products

4. Experience on different IO interfaces

5. Experience on uC and uP architectures

6. Experience in defining the Test plans/ strategy/ cases

7. Experience in writing test strategy, Test plan and Test cases for Electrical/ Functional/ EMC/ ENV/ Safety and Global certifications

8. Able to write test specs for production test.

9. Experience on product development process.

10. Experience on scripting &high level languages like Labview will be added vantage.

Preferred Skills:

1. Knowledge in Wireless Domain (Different Wireless protocols)

2. Knowledge of IS ,SIL, Hazloc certifications and requirements

3. Strong Analytical and reasoning skills

4. Demonstration of usage of six sigma tools in projects (Six sigma with Green belt certification)

5. Superior written and verbal communication skills.

6. Able to work independently owning the project tasks

7. Able to work with global partners.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelors degree in engineering
