Job Summary

Deliver business value through Right and Fast partnership

Perform Manual testing of products/Applications

Understand the product and develop user centric Test cases.

Work within the scrum team to enable built in quality

Understand end user scenarios and contribute to requirements and design reviews

Understand/contribute to Acceptance Criteria and test case development for stories and verify the product/system against the same

Automation of test scripts is an added advantage.

Monitor release quality criteria and communicate unbiased product quality view to stakeholders to enable quality release of the product/system

Develop firmware for a variety of embedded products. You will create project and technical reports as required and help define product architecture as needed. You will participate in schematic/layout review process and test and evaluate prototypes from initial engineering samples to mass production. You will help maintain firmware servers and develop tools for internal use, including scripts and basic hardware interfaces. Aid in the design and development of equipment and systems, and redesign of existing systems to fulfill the needs of Honeywell's customers.

Bachelor or Masters of Engineering in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation or Mechanical

Minimum of 3-5 years experience in product/system testing

Should have good understanding of Thermal engineering concepts related to Combustion theory, Air fuel control, Flame detectors, Valve actuators, flue gas analysers etc.

Exposure on thermal control systems is an added advantage.

Exposure to Agile scrum and Acceptance Test Driven development is desirable

Build, Maintain and Troubleshoot test fixtures / test jigs

Should have exposure to test management, defect tracking, performance test tools

Good analytical thinking, troubleshooting & problem solving skills, coupled with the drive to learn

Good communication skills, both verbal and written

Self-motivated and the ability to work independently without supervision

Prepared to travel domestic or overseas as per project or business needs

Ability to work together with different cross functional & delivery teams

Demonstrates Influencing skills to articulate independent Product Quality view

Right level of Negotiation skills & conflict management capability

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree
