EOPS Data Analyst

Honeywell UOP is an international supplier of process technology, products, engineered systems and technical services to the petroleum refining, petrochemical, gas processing and energy industries and is a leader in the research and development of petroleum and petrochemical processing.

An excellent career opportunity is currently available for EOPS Data Analyst within Honeywell India Technology Center located in Gurgaon, India. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on UOP's New Product Development (NPD) and portfolio management processes and tools. The position will require to work very closely with global portfolio management team and will also require analysis of R&D and financial data to ensure that UOPs R&D investments are optimized.

Key Responsibilities:

Key enabler to achieve operational excellence through data driven decision making

Data consolidation across business teams from organizational systems/databases and validation for accuracy working with project owners

Cross functional team engagement to integrate data and generate reports on Engineering spend / AOP (Annual Operating Plan) to drive Say-Do compliance

Drive end to end compliance of procurement process working along with functions (Finance, SCM) and PMs to bring out the traceability

Visualization through reports on key business and engineering KPIs to business leaders as defined by MOS (Management Operating System)

Bring out insights through data analysis and enable leadership to make data driven decisions

Audit data accuracy in organizational systems periodically and communicate right Global and HTS India stakeholders with action items for maintaining data hygiene

Define requirements for data reporting tools and work with IT and support teams to digitize / automate the process to improve EOPS efficiency and accuracy in reporting

Qualifications and Key Skill Requirements:

Bachelors degree from an accredited university with knowledge and hands on experience on MS Office tools like Excel (with macros), PowerPoint, SharePoint / MS Teams, Outlook, etc.

Masters degree in Computer Science or Management will be an added advantage

Proven working experience (minimum 2 5 Years) as a data analyst or business data analyst, with exposure to Data analysis, Reporting and Automation of reports

Knowledge on financial metrics and project management metrics

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

Analytical aptitude to support metrics development and management

Quantitative skills in mathematics, statistics, and analytics

Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings

Can visualize and present information in a simple but impactful manner

Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.

Ability to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.

Additional Skills

High-level written and verbal communication skills in English

Strong exposure to SAP, Accolade, and Ecosys would be a plus

Strong interpersonal, problem solving, decision making, organization skills and ability to meet tight deadlines

Strong interest in work process improvements, business analysis, and system development

Ability to work in a team as well as independently
