JOB TITLE : Sr. Project Management Specialist

Description/Brief Summary of what role entails (Job Purpose)

Sr. Project Management Specialist is responsible to solve logistics and supply chain challenges through data analysis, innovation and process optimization. Sr. Project Management Specialist works as an individual contributor, facilitates KPI Performance monitoring and management across supply chain. Act as a mentor to other team members in supply chain functional areas.

This role requires experience in solving supply chain problems and business processes using analytics. Works closely with cross functional supply chain leads across businesses in translating functional problems into analytics solution.

Sr. Project Management Specialist is expected to closely work with ISC Global Analytics team members as well with Enterprise IT team to align practices and priorities to support the transition of analytics to FORGE Big Data platform.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Accountable for working with global supply chain partners in driving supply chain transformation using Actionable Analytics. Drive performance monitoring, KPI management across supply chain and enable data driven supply chain strategies. Connect with global stakeholders and identify opportunities to drive business value via analytics solutions. Translate business requirement / problem statement into analytical solutions. Drive supply chain efficiencies and enable change management to drive costs down. Help to solve logistics and supply chain challenges through data analysis, innovation and process optimization. Continually assess alternative analytics-based proposals/models that deliver value and make recommendations across various leadership levels. Drive process improvements across supply chain functions. Attract, coach and mentor Specialists / Analysts, leading by example through acting as an individual contributor.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Science / Engineering / Technology MBA or other relevant advanced degrees in Supply Chain / Logistics is preferred Supply chain certifications: CPIM /CSCP/ CPSM / CTL

Experience:
10+ Years in Supply chain spanning areas of planning, procurement, inventory management, fulfillment, logistics, or other related fields 5+ years in business process re-engineering of core processes to optimize the value chain
5+ years in enabling supply chain strategies, familiarity with make-to-stock / make-to-order fulfillment strategies. Hands-on experience in SAP / HANA / BO4/ JDA, WMS / Manhattan, Ariba

Nature of Experience (Area/Function/Environment/Domain/Product):

Domain areas of expertise in one or more of the following:

Planning : Forecasting, demand planning, supply planning, integrated business planning, S&OP Sourcing & Procurement : Supplier B2B, Category planning, eProcurement, supplier catalogs Supply chain network strategy : Manufacturing & distribution network / route optimization, transportation planning & scheduling

Essential skills:
Understand ambiguous issues / scenarios - able to distil learning and simplify Good understanding of supply chain processes and their interdependencies Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated ability to query, analyse, explain and draw logical conclusions from operational & financial data and present findings in a simple manner Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret financial data Innovative, creative, and proactive Strong influencing skills, including demonstrated ability to influence and drive results at all levels of the organization Team Player, open to feedback, and flexible & adaptable to changing needs.
