Job Summary

The Opportunity: (Brief Overview of the Role) The role holder is the key process owner for the entities mentioned above and as such is responsible for the timely and accurate disbursal of payroll for over 26,000 employees in the India entities. He/she is also responsible for the timely deduction and remittance of taxes and other regulatory deductions, on behalf of the above mentioned employees to the statutory authorities. He/she is required to also: Deliver efficient and reliable delivery of end-to-end Payroll service Timely and accurate Payroll accounting, Vendor payments, preparing schedules and payroll related G/L accounts, monthly reconciliations etc. Build and maintain effective relationships with business stakeholder both within (HR Generalists) and outside (regulatory authorities, vendors etc.) Mitigate the operational risk in a proactive manner by deploying effective controls in the process, and by conducting process health checks periodically and implementing any recommendations as applicable Manage and lead new migrations, global projects and the surrounding change control process i.e., from process design, UAT up until deployment Generate and evaluate process MI with a view to constantly refine the process as required Responsible for keeping the organization compliant to the latest changes and developments within the regulatory environment, as driven by govt. bodies like PF, ESI and Gratuity etc.) Identify and implement best practice sharing between the various regional Payroll processes, where ever possible
