Openstack Lead Job in Hughes Systique

Project Overview:

This project will require experience with production grade OpenStack deployments and telco domain knowledge. It will also require R&D work with OpenStack services and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Key responsibilities will be to lead/guide team in OpenStack, Virtualization, NFV & MANO related technologies. Candidate will also be involved in performing R&D work by himself in cloud related technologies at individual level.
• Person will be contributing towards both internal R&D work and customer projects.

Mandatory Skills:

• Practical experience with Operators Telco, Core and IP networks and virtual networks functions
• Possess strong Cloud and Network architectural knowledge in areas of virtualization, Openstack, Openflow, VXLAN/VLANs, Hypervisors, vSwitch, Virtual Machines and containers.
• Deployment of OpenStack Services and additional services like Ironic, Cinder, Manilla, Zun etc. Hands-on experience on OpenStack
• Python programming/Ansible scripting is a must

• Desired Skills:
• Expertise in production grade deployments - High Availability and OpenStack upgrades with minimal downtime
• Experience in OpenStack DPDK and SRIOV support
• Good understanding of OpenStack internals (specifically networking)
• Exposure to containers, Kubernetes and Microservices concepts is a plus
• Expertise in NFVI/VIM, VNFM, NFVO, MANO and SDN (optional)technologies
