Web Developer Responsibilities:

• Website and software application designing, building, or maintaining.
• Work as a WordPress developer for existing sites and applications.
• Directing or performing Website updates.
• Editing, writing, designing Website content, and directing team members who produce content.
• Maintaining an understanding of the latest Web applications and programming practices through education, study, and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups.
• Back up files from Web sites to local directories for recovery.
• Meeting with clients to discuss website design and function.
• Designing and managing the website back end including.
• Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
• Conducting website performance tests.
• Troubleshooting content issues.
• Monitoring performance of the live website.
