Django Backend Developer with REST API Expertise

Responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Django code.

• Develop RESTful APIs serving frontend applications and mobile apps.

• Integrate with external systems and services using Django’s tools.

• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.

• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.

• Work closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration with React.js applications.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Django web framework.

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (e.g. Git).

• Experience with Django’s ORM, middleware, form systems, and other core modules.

• Deep understanding of REST API principles and best practices.

• Experience with database schema design, querying, optimization, migrations.

• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools.

• Good to have: Understanding of front-end technologies such as React.js
