Accountant Job in I-pac

About the Job:

I-PAC is seeking professionals who can play a pivotal role in the finance function to support its multiple projects across locations

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular ledger maintenance
• Perform general day-to-day accounting activities and ad-hoc analysis
• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Liaise with the Finance Manager to report and improve procedures

Minimum Qualification:

• Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Finance is a must (Master s preferred)
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• 3-7 years of experience in general or tax accounting
• Proven experience as a accounting supervisor or senior accountant

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with accounting softwares like Tally
• Advanced knowledge of Excel skills including V-lookups and pivot tables
• Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment
• Good communication skills- written, oral & presentation
• Flexibility to travel

Location: Kolkata (Shall be open to travel as per business requirement)
