Job Summary
Job Responsibilities:
- Providing analytical support in metrics, reporting, and dashboard development
- Taking ownership of a project with minimal supervision
- Generating insights from large and complex datasets and understanding the nuances and inconsistencies in data
- Applying an analytical mindset to propose data-driven solutions
- Ability to multi-task and operate effectively in a fast-paced and customer-oriented environment; ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization
- Ability to emerge as a thought partner to internal stakeholders on various people-related challenges by developing domain expertise
- Communicating and presenting technical details to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills, which showcases credibility and excels in a collaborative setting
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Statistics/Mathematics/Economics/Engineering or equivalent analytical discipline from top tier institute
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data analyses and knowledge of statistical methodologies
- Minimum 2 years of strong quantitative and analytical skills with experience in at least one data science and analytics tool, such as Python, R, Scala, advanced SQL, Tableau, and PowerBI
- Strong knowledge of the sampling, selection biases, and normalization techniques
- Good communication and presentation skills to convey data to non-expert
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in secondary level research and extracting data from multiple sources
- Applies scripting/programming skills to assemble various types of source data (unstructured, semi-structured, and structured) into well-prepared data sets with multiple levels of granularity
- Experience working on sentiment analysis using NLP and other techniques
- Experience in Django/Flask framework is preferred.
- Experience in database design and ERD
