Job Summary

Job Role:

We are looking for individuals, who will be responsible for developing and executing communication plans and digital campaigns to support current digital platforms in each region across the state. As a part of I-PAC s Digital Team you will be required to conceptualize, strategize, and implement innovative social media campaigns across all platforms. As a Digital Network Unit team member, you are expected to have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment, solve complex problems on an everyday basis, and have the tenacity to survive tight deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and develop a network, propagate content, and manage social media and digital platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and WhatsApp in their local regions.
  • Create content regularly for campaign properties and other social media assets as needed through primary and secondary research.
  • Work in close coordination with the district and assembly leadership of the party and maintain cordial relations.
  • Build a strong network of local journalists, newsmakers, and media resources. Keep track of regional specific news and political events covered in the media.
  • Set narrative for everyday work and identify issues to be picked, packaged, and disseminated in creative ways across various digital platforms.
  • Liaison with I-PAC field team members to ensure complete synchronization between field activity and digital operations.
  • Keep up with all political developments and suggest campaign interventions as and when required.

Minimum qualification:

  • Postgraduate or graduate degree from premier institutes
  • Understanding of social media platforms and digital best practices, SEO and web traffic metrics, experience with video content creation and storyboarding.
  • Professionals with minimum 1 year of experience in managing digital campaigns and/or content creation.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work long hours.
  • Strong analytical skills and creative thinking.
  • Excellent writing and communications skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of digital analytics tools like Google Analytics, Twitter Analytics etc.
  • Hands-on experience with google and Facebook products for reporting and measuring KPIs.
  • Experience with visual communication principles.
