Scriptwriter

Scope of work:

• Creating the content base for the largest democratic campaign in the world.
• In the largest celebration of democracy, your words have power.The scriptwriters we are looking for will ideate, collect, conceptualise, research, write, break down, execute, and curate scripts.
• You ll be managing multiple projects on multiple timelines, coordinating with production teams, working on scheduling shoots and the planning process with an eye on research, working alongside producers and editors and scheduling delivery/distribution on multiple platforms (online and offline).
• Though an extensive knowledge of politics or prior experience in the political domain would be a plus, an acute political acumen is mandatory.

Additional responsibilities:

• Coordinating with the producers, directors, managers, and other personnel throughout the production process.
• Involvement in the post-production process in order to ensure smoother delivery of projects.
• Involvement with setting up of various platforms, and the pushing of relevant content on those platforms.
• Observing the latest developments on social media and otherwise in terms of message and medium at national, international and state levels.

Technical skills required:

Apart from the usual Microsoft Office, Apple Pages, Numbers and Keynote, working knowledge of filmmaking software and tools such as:

• Basic Video Editing: Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere
• Basic Audio Editing: Audacity or Logic X or ProTools
• Scripting/Storyboarding Software: CeltX or FinalDraft/StudioBinder or Storyboard Pro
