Job Summary

Key Responsibility

  • Hands on experience in managing procurement activities of equipments such as pressure vessels, columns, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, blowers, utility packages, electrical and instrumentation, piping materials as well as finalizing construction contracts.
  • Should have thorough knowledge of vendors for the above equipments and items both in India as well as international suppliers.
  • Should have worked as lead engineer procurement for at least two major chemical petrochemical or refinery projects
  • Floating of enquiry to vendors as per Master Vendor list and obtaining offers.
  • Preparation and monitoring of Inquiry statusreport.
  • Clarification of commercial queries and involved in the negotiation with vendors.
  • Co-ordination with Engineering & Project departments.
  • Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
  • Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
  • Obtain competitive bids and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.

BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MBA
