Your Role and Responsibilities
As an OpenPages Developer within the CISO GRC Tooling Team, your work will contribute to delivering solutions that support IBM's Business Controls, Corporate Assurance, Industry Compliance, and Cybersecurity initiatives. These solutions help document SOX compliance, support internal and external auditing, and enable application security reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Solution Development: Analyze requirements, design, configure, and develop solutions through the OpenPages product.
- Custom Code Development: Expand capabilities by writing custom code using Java and front-end technologies like JavaScript/React.
- Test and Support: Ensure solutions are properly tested and provide ongoing operational support to maintain high-quality performance.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Work as part of a Governance, Risk, and Compliance platform to manage risks, issues, and compliance reporting across IBM.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 3+ years of experience with Java, relational databases, and API development.
- 3+ years of experience with JavaScript.
- Experience with container-based deployment methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving complex business issues.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- 2 years of experience with the OpenPages product.
- Familiarity with the Carbon Design System.
- Strong understanding of MVC (Model-View-Controller) and other software design patterns.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
