Lead Consultant - Product Release Management Job in Icertis

Qualifications

• Direct ownership of software release management in a dynamic, high velocity agile development organizations of size 250 or more.
• Prior experience of establishing software development and release processes and executing to them.
• Experience in working in an Agile development organization with multiple parallel sprints.
• Ability to lead cross department meetings with contradicting agendas through inclusive communication and fostering collaboration.
• Good understanding of metrics around development organizations and expertise in building and publishing them to wide audience.
• BE or MS degree from a reputed university with 8+ years of experience (atleast 2 years in product release management). Prior experience in Microsoft development environment including experience with tools such as TFS, Sharepoint etc. is a plus. Prior certification and/or experience as a scrum master is a definite plus.

Requirements

• Accountable to manage the product development and deployment operations working with different parts of the organization including Development, Product Management, QA, Support, Operations and Professional Services.
• Ensure the adherence of processes, entry-exit criteria during different transition phases of development process. Continuously monitor and improve the processes to remove barriers to speed.
• Be metrics driven and collect different metrics around development velocity, capacity planning, defect resolution, escaped defects etc. to provide to the management overall health of operations and make recommendations for improvement areas.
• Ensure proper usage of tools in place and modify the tools to be able to handle multiple streams of development activity that will occur concurrently.
• Conduct regular ongoing cross department meetings, including but not limited to daily standups, release planning, release signoff, retrospectives, end of sprint planning etc.
