Job Summary

Prepare electrical load lists and conduct load calculations for various projects.

Design protection schemes, single-line diagrams, and substation layouts.

Develop plant area layouts for cable routing, tray routing, earthing, and lighting.

Utilize software such as ETAP for electrical system design, load flow analysis, and protection coordination.

Conduct lighting illumination calculations using tools such as AGI 32 and Luxicon.

Provide guidance on lighting schemes and controls.

Prepare material take-offs and estimates for power, lighting, and earthing systems.

Prepare purchase requisitions and data sheets for electrical equipment.

Participate in technical bid evaluations and prepare evaluation reports.

Review vendor documents for compliance with project specifications and standards.

Guide designers in 3D modeling and 2D drafting activities in coordination with other disciplines.

Utilize 2D CAD tools such as AutoCAD and MicroStation for electrical design activities.

Use 3D model review software such as SPR and Navisworks for design coordination.

Ensure the preparation of design deliverables in compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Coordinate promptly with other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical designs effectively.

Conduct appropriate checking and review of all documents and drawings before release at any revision status.

Assist the Lead Engineer in work planning, progress monitoring, and adherence to scheduled completion of engineering documents.

Support the Lead Engineer in all departmental functions.
