Job Summary
QA Tester - Surat
We are looking for a meticulous QA Tester to join our IT team. The ideal candidate should have experience in manual and automation testing to ensure the performance and quality of e-commerce applications. You will be responsible for identifying bugs, executing test cases, and working closely with developers to optimize user experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
- Detect, report, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and UI testing on web and mobile applications.
- Understand project requirements and design test scenarios accordingly.
- Work closely with developers, project managers, and designers to enhance application quality.
- Verify data integrity and backend processes using SQL queries.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and security loopholes in applications.
- Maintain proper testing documentation, reports, and guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must have worked on web application testing including cross-browser testing.
- Familiarity with testing tools like Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or Postman.
- Knowledge of SQL queries for backend validation.
- Understanding of SDLC & STLC methodologies.
- Experience in testing cart functionality, checkout flows, payment gateways, and order management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills to report issues effectively.
- Candidate should have 1+ years of experience.
