IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our New Age department, specifically in the Information Technology, Engineering, and Digital Engineering teams. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our DevOps processes and tools to support our digital banking initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain our DevOps processes and tools to support our digital banking initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement automation opportunities
- Monitor and maintain the health and performance of our systems and applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Continuously improve our DevOps processes and tools to increase efficiency and productivity
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and digital banking
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps role
- Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and best practices
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
